Terms and Conditions

1. Our Contract
When you place an order with Discount Publications to subscribe to a magazine, we will send you an automatic e-mail confirming receipt of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when the order is processed. Should we be unable to accept the order for any reason, we will endeavour to inform you within seven days. If we subsequently agree with you not to proceed with the order any payments made will be returned within 24 hours.
2. Product Availability
Our product information is updated regularly but it is possible that in some instances a title may become unavailable. In such cases, we will contact you to inform you of the error. You will be given the option of subscribing to an alternative publication or cancelling your order.
3. Pricing Errors
Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on the website are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made. If we discover a mistake in the price of the products you have ordered, we will let you know and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you, we will cancel your order. If your order is cancelled and you have already paid for the products you will receive a full refund.
4. Credit Cards
Discount Publications accepts all major cards, including MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Switch and Delta, through the Paypal secure payment link. Discount Publications may also process the customer credit card but reserves the right to pass on credit card details to the magazine publisher for processing. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
5. Credit Card Security
In cases where we process credit card details ourselves, although we use the latest encrypted security software from the market leader Equifax, the security of information and payments transmitted via the Internet cannot be guaranteed. Any losses incurred or sustained by customers who transmit information by means of e-mail or other internet link shall be borne solely and exclusively by such customer and in no event shall any such losses in whole or part by borne by Discount Publications.
6. Returns and Cancellations
Because the low prices we offer require commitment to publishers on our part as soon as an order is transmitted to them, Discount Publications is unable to accept returns or cancellations. Thus, for all publications a minimum subscription term of 12 months is a condition of the sale. This does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Delivery Addresses
Subscription prices shown on our website are only for delivery to addresses inside the United Kingdom. Deliveries to European countries or beyond are more expensive, but can usually be arranged on special request.
8. Age
Restrictions Discount Publications only sells to persons aged 16 years or over.
9. Marketing
We may from time to time, but only your prior permission, send you marketing e-mails. Also with your permission, we may pass on to your contact details to selected companies. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Events beyond our reasonable control
Please note that some of our processes are manual and errors can arise. We carry out frequent checks to detect any errors. If they do occur, we will act immediately to minimise inconvenience and disappointment that may be caused. We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

This web site sometimes contains links to other web sites. Whilst we hope you will be interested in these linked web sites, they are independent of Discount Publications and we do not endorse or accept any responsibility for their content.
12. Computer Viruses
Although we have taken steps to ensure that our web site is free from viruses, worms, Trojan horses and other malicious code, we advise users of out web site to use an up to date virus checking program from a leading provider and virus check all materials downloaded from Discount Publications for the presence of viruses, worms, trojan horses and other malicious code. We exclude to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws all liability in connection with any damage or loss caused by computer viruses or other malicious code originating or contracted from our web site.
13. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you for breaking any of these Terms and Conditions is limited to refunding any money you've already paid for subscriptions that you haven't yet received. Our liability excludes situations where performance of any obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by any circumstance or caused beyond our reasonable control. So far as the law allows, we will not be liable for any further loss or damages.
14. Severability
If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, the enforceability of any other part of these terms and conditions will not be affected.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.
